Just Dance

Today I was at my very first dance!
I think it was really cool, because there were about four strobe (well, strong, coloured spotlights) lights and two screens both showing the music video of a song when it was playing. Everyone was bunched up there, at the front, and there were less and less people going towards the back of the room.

People just about went NUTS when (of course - saw it coming, didn't you? I did) Gangham Style started playing. Girls SCREAMED! And I started to dance with Millie and Shrishti (she said I was a good dancer . . .  THANK YOU!). At the appropriate moments, practically everyone broke into the invisible horse dance!! I did too - and it was SO FUN! At the part when, in the video, Psy spots Hyuna on the train, and begins reaching out for her (dae, dae, da-da-d-d-d-d-d-d (*note shakes*). . . OPPA GANGHAM STYLE!!!!) and the screen starts shaking - the MOMENT before Psy says "oppa gangham style" (when everything goes quiet) - the DJ shouted, "SOMEBODY SCREAM!!" Did they ever! Aaaaand . ..  invisible horse dance!

Dancing was effortless! It's easy when you're like surrounded by people but nobody's actually watching you.
