Cool my heels when the heat is on

The past few days have been humid; it contrasts with the recent short bursts of rain. Last Saturday me and my family were at my sibling's future school's Fun Fair, and when I got back home I was so tired I actually took a catnap. Here's what I did at the Fun Fair:

• Participated in the Cake Walk with my eyes on the pink-frosted cupcakes; but despite having entered three times I had no luck with it.
• Had my nails painted a light lilac with sparkles overtop.
• There was one of those contraptions that when a button is hit, a bucket of water would turn over the waiting teacher's head. I dunked on the teacher on my first try. :) YEAH!
• Bought a candy bag with gummy bears, dubble bubble gum (I am not interested), a Coffee Crisp, a KitKat, and a sour key! (yum!)
• Played the "guess the card" game. I won a Lil' Kinz Oriole.:)
• Ate a hamburger - my family and I all had BBQ!

Sunday, it was sunny all morning, so my dad and my siblings went out to ride their bikes. Suddenly, within ONE SECOND, rain was pounding down and the children were caught out in the flash torrent! They came to the house crying, afraid, because . . . you know . . . the water was coming down pretty hard.

For now, I think, the weather won't be so humid. But it's only a matter of time.
