Frère Jacques, Frère Jacques

The last two days, I've woken up half an hour earlier than necessary. When I do, I write down what I remember of my dreams - rather blearily - and then fall asleep again, recording my dreams as best I can when I do wake up according to my alarm clock.

Why is this? Is my mind helping me out by waking me up early in an attempt to interrupt my REM so I can remember my dreams more clearly? The last time, I remembered four different dreams and tried to write them ALL down, which resulted in them all being kind of . . .  nondescript.

See, and recently I just got a sudden urge to sleep, so I pulled a blanket over me and thought, twice, "Si je dormerais jusqu'a la soirée, ça sera chouette." When I wake up, the time was one minute after the time that my bus arrives to its stop, which confused me, because if it was morning, then that would mean that I'm late. But I wasn't in my pajamas, so it couldn't be morning. After mentally floundering around, the sleep fog disappeared and I made sense of everything.
