Prologue (name pending.)

The two figures stood in the shadows, back-to-back. One was fairly tall and the other smaller.

"Marina, we should go back. What if they catch us?" The voice was soft as cherry blossoms.

"Don't be silly! I don't plan on getting caught. Everything always goes with the plan." This voice was stronger and sharper, like a hundred silver sleigh bells. The smaller figure, Marina, shifted her feet, and she stepped toward the building.

"More not than often," the tall one quipped. Then, she cartwheeled once, twice, three times before springing free, landing lightly on the roof. The other one followed half a heartbeat later.

"Let's get this over with, T-star," said Marina. "After all, they're not as good as us. We're special. Let's get that stinking jewel."

T-star nodded and promptly jumped down the chimney.
